It's often the way things are said, though if you're not stoopid in the first place you will probably not say anything that could be misunderstood in the first place. What do you think about the word gaijin nori-chan?

I am suffering big time at the moment, ngarutoa - tell us more!

I'd be hard pressed to even tell you the real meaning of easter any more, nori-chan, and I bet there's a lot of people the same. It probably only has any real meaning to those religiously inclined.

Not really, but doing my best to improve. It just takes so damn long though sometimes motivation and keeping up the effort levels is a big problem. I've always hated studying.

Has anyone else seen that ad on Japanese tv where it basically is telling parents to hug their kids? Is there more to it than that, or is that just what it is?

So - when are you escaping for summer?
mad-as-a-nut replied to rachael's topic in General off-topic discussions
I'm going to be able to escape for just 12 days the first part of August. Apart from that, my solution is to swim a lot. -
