  1. It's often the way things are said, though if you're not stoopid in the first place you will probably not say anything that could be misunderstood in the first place. What do you think about the word gaijin nori-chan?
  2. I am suffering big time at the moment, ngarutoa - tell us more!
  3. Blair, a bit off topic buy is that brewery at your place still open? I heard it had closed. A rowdy beergarden would have been a good idea.
  4. I'd be hard pressed to even tell you the real meaning of easter any more, nori-chan, and I bet there's a lot of people the same. It probably only has any real meaning to those religiously inclined.
  5. If it's clean it would be nice to be completely wrapped up in it, if you know what I mean.
  6. I've just freed up a few days holiday this week and hoping to take a trip up to Nagano for a few days. Suddenly appearing holidays are sweet.

  12. I can often tell. Fashion has a big part to play as well I think
  13. Not really, but doing my best to improve. It just takes so damn long though sometimes motivation and keeping up the effort levels is a big problem. I've always hated studying.
  14. If I crash into someone at a skijo here, what happens? I suppose there's 2 cases - when its my fault for going too fast/reckless, and the other when it isn't particularly my fault. How does this all play out if it happens re: blame, insurance, money, etc...? anyone know?
  15. Guns in Tokyo. Oh no. I thought I was away from guns.
  16. Don't know about shoes but I swim as well as jog and find the 2 go together real well. Neither gets boring and the swimming gives your knees a break.
  17. Has anyone else seen that ad on Japanese tv where it basically is telling parents to hug their kids? Is there more to it than that, or is that just what it is?
  18. I'm going to be able to escape for just 12 days the first part of August. Apart from that, my solution is to swim a lot.
  19. I agree. Sometimes its better not to be able to speak the local language. More fun.
