  1. Yes Mamabear driving here is really not a big deal.

She said that she was wasn't more than 20 over the limit, so she should be ok. "OK?" I asked. Apparently, if she was speeding more than 20 (or 30) over the limit, as a public worker she may well have been docked som
  3. Ask your landlord before getting a proper one fit up. They need to make a hole. I doubt they would say no, but best to get that "ok" first. You might need to get the hole fixed up as well when you leave. Make sure you know what the deal is there. But if you can, get a proper one.

  7. si, shi tu, tsu Don't get why lots of Japanese write the former at all.
  8. Cool MO. Does your child do lessons in English or Japanese btw? if you don't mind me asking.
  9. Quote: So so wrong that it is tax-payer funded. Honestly, if someone wants to be a "virgin" again, they can pay for it themselves, how many breast implants do you see funded through public health systems? Thats when all the nonsense cultural\traditional arguments come in and raise their annoying heads.
  10. No. The fact that it can so easily be culled and spread around.... perhaps is.
  11. Yep those last two posts. I tend to put on weight really quickly and find it tough losing it, like most people probably. Thing is I seem unable to do anything but put on weight unless I really really put an effort in. There's no "stable" time where I keep it just as. I put some on then have to lose it when I need to really put an effort into the dieting. Like now.
  12. The MS site has been updated. 3100 yen to download the English language pack. Free would be better, but worth having if you are lumbered with a Japanese version of the software and prefer friendly English everywhere.
  13. Very limited too. Every episode is a recyle of the last.
  14. So much hatred! Calm down folks. Just let the people who want it buy it and get on with your lives and buy what you want to buy.
  15. Looks like it will be free http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/language/?CTT=3 On re-reading though, not clear about the free bit for the whole thing. We'll see!
  16. Had the same thing last summer. It was a nightmare getting the thing out and it just wouldn't do anything other than fly around madly near the ceiling. Ended up going down the local shop to buy a net on a stick and get him that way.
  17. I'm also in the no firm plans camp right now. Plan to move out of the campsite in autumn.
  18. Wow quick response! That would be good if true. While I can read Japanese a bit, it's slow and having things in English just makes things much more familiar.
  19. Anyone know what the multi-language support is like in the new one. For menus etc? For 2007, you could buy a DVD that converted all the menus etc into English or other languages.
