If someone was cycling over the limit (which is zero, right) and caused a crash? I know that sometimes the driver can be held responsible even if it wasn't really their fault. Right? Had a few beers, not sure if I'm making any sense.

I have heard a few stories like that as well. Here's another. People much fatter now because there was not much choice back in the war. Not that there is a lot of choice people eat much more and get much fatter.

Wales is a great place.

If anything is remotely strange, it gets deleted straight off. These people are really getting annoying.

The one time I had a go (a friends friend in Nagano) it was fun. Very different from being on some planks though of course.

I'm not a donor but have nothing against the idea. I will have to look into how I go about doing that.

I see Internet Explorer 7 will be flagged up as a "high priority" download by Microsoft later this year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/5223366.stm I have been using the beta on one of my PCs here. Don't like the buttons but apart from that some good new things going on. Then again I know almost nothing about the browser alternatives, it really doesn't excite me at all.

Does seem rather curious.

More news about sad dudes. They have a new name, NEETS: Japan's future is in peril due to growing numbers of young people not looking for love, according to Weekly Playboy (7/3). In hard-working Japan, the country's current whipping boys are those who've been lumped in the category of NEET -- an acronym for those Not in Employment, Education or Training - with the word carrying connotations of being bums with no interest in life. Now, according to the men's weekly, Japan is witnessing a proliferation of Rennai NEETs, or bums who couldn't care about love. The magazine bases

Give him a bone http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/5099190.stm A US dog has won an award for saving her owner's life by dialling a phone number that alerted emergency services to her owner's diabetic seizure. Belle the beagle triggered a call to an ambulance crew by biting on her owner, Kevin Weaver's, mobile phone.

what's everybody listening to now?

That Keane single - I thought it was U2 when I first heard it. They should stick to what they are good at - the slower/mid-tempo melodic tunes. I'm listening a lot to the new Chillis album I really like it. Friend also got the best of Fatboy Slim which has been duly copied (oops) and in the car. -
Good movies you've seen recently

Sideways is on wowow tonight so I'm going to give that a watch. A friend of mine is working on the new Superman movie and so I'm getting a lot of buzz from that. Sounds like it is going to be really good. -
Quote: "Kennedy 194cm" Yes I noticed that too. Perhaps 194cm is his first name? Too funny.

Not PC but.... if you are one of the 34 people who have an xbox 360, soon it will be on Xbox Live Arcade. If I remember correctly, that was one difficult game. When I was a kid I remember the Star Wars game being my favorite, that rocked.

Interesting stuff though. Perhaps it's just people repeating information and stretching/changing it as often happens.
