  1. I think if you're a beginner rather than worry about snow conditions, just get out there and do it. I learned on shite snow out in Hiroshima - so if I learned there and many other people learn on better hills and conditions, they're prolly better off. I think the most important thing, if you really are a beginner, is to get out there as many days as possible and get the hang of it, and spend time learning how to ski, as opposed to worrying about snow conditions.
  2. I'll give you 1000 yen for all. You should prolly put a price you're asking for.
  3. Yeah, that was mental. The scene from Antarctic with that 80 degree pitch all the way down was pretty insane. Looking down from the peak was sick.
  4. But that was on a really really gnarly slope where they repelled down right? I dont think that is something that most normal humans do. To hear JJ say that he was scared shitless really put it in perspective.

Glad to see some athletes pushing themselves further.
  6. I really enjoyed my time up there - the vibe in the city was chilled, too. Been looking at jobs up that way but seem to be very very limited. I could easily live up there myself

  8. Maybe like 2000/month? The food and alcohol are always worth while the few times a year we have em. Definitely not a bad way to start a night out.
  9. Nice cams there...good to see the snow coming down more and more. I like watching girls in FMBs walking around
  10. People who forget where they put their train ticket/pass and stop right before the ticket gate blocking the way get on my nerves - as do those who stop right when they pass through to figure out where they are going. GTFOTW and move to the side if you dont know where you are going so the other hundred or so people can continue moving. Its like they think the whole world will stop and wait for them.
  11. Those Bose speakers are sweet as several family members and mates have it, so have seen several movies with that, but the price here in Japan is insane - isnt that up towards 30万?
