One of my friends has a new Clie (NX70 I think it is), it looks awesome and he's really happy with it - even though they're quite expensive. OK someone explain to me - if you put in a wireless LAN card into one, can you just connect to the internet then? And you use the connect info you use for your home PC?? May sound silly question but no-one seems to explain it clearly. Cheers kev

I find myself buying many more presents here in Japan than I would back home, but it's fine - a part of the culture and actually something I have grown to enjoy. It doesn't seem like something that 'should be done' anymore, more something that I want to do.

Early is good, and leave a bit early too to avoid crowds.

Are there any good heated goggles?? Sure could use some sometimes. viv

Jared that is a fine idea, but whenever I look at a resort at night for the most part there's hardly a soul out there.

Ours has been doing that too. Keeps on shutting down whenever it wants to with some "E4" message or something. Looks like we need a new one, they're a real pain.

barok, nice one. Apart from the knee issue, I can't believe snowboarders wouldn't ski if there was no boarding. After all, that's what a huge number of snowboarders were doing before 5 years ago, right?

If the snow is good, we'll last as long as that.
