I was speaking to some friends over summer who are really not into computers at all, but have to do basic stuff for work - basically forced on them. And they were moaning about the pace of work being speeded up, more pressure, more stress, etc because of email and the internet. They wish it had never happened. While I don't feel that way - even though I wish I could escape from email sometimes just for a while - I can see their point. Anyone else feel that way I wonder. (Perhaps not among people using an online forum, but hey topic starter)

Off topic a bit, but when theres some events in Japan have you noticed the reaction to the "other team" getting a point (when they play Japan). Its not booing or boorish behavior. It's complete silence. Strange.

I've been waking up early recently and only really just noticed that our local town hall plays a crappy alarm wake up call at 6am every single morning - even weekends. Why the wonkers does it do that? What is the point? Don't locals hate being woken up for no reason whatsoever every day? I'm glad I don't live that near to the place.

And the marathon repeats, now that will put you to sleep. I'm waking up early recently and actually noticing the local town hall 6am "alarm". Why do they do that?
