  2. Let's sleeping. (Good to hear from you Jinja! How ya doin'?)
  3. that's a joke right? If you're in Saitama, go north to Gunma or Yuzawa is the best bet for you.
  4. yep, posting from work...just don't tell the boss! Cal, were you on this board last year then? can't remember the name...
  5. Great to see so many people on the forum even now before the snow comes. Much more than this time last year - looks like there must be quite a lot more people using the site. This season is going to be a blast people!
  6. Boarding for me. Havent looked back since I took it up 5 years ago. What a feeling. Maybe I should go back to skiing to see what that feels like again, but just dont want to give up riding the pow on a board.
  7. Welcome back grungy - thought you'd run away. Back just for the winter?
  8. Fit is definitely the most important thing, couldn't agree more. Good to hear advice though guys. Do you buy in Japan or bring them over here?

  10. Hi Ian You might find that there are more boarders around than skiers - at least they seem to be the more "vociferous" of the two camps. But hey I have always thought they can live together!?! Haha. Welcome to the board. Wizz
  11. me thinks crazy time will continue for long time, and get crazier too.....not good.
  12. Hi there Got to be either Nozawa, Shiga or the places in Hakuba if you want to try out Nagano. Tradition? Nozawa Expanse? Shiga Olympic venue? Hakuba My 2 cents anyway Wizz
  13. Excellent.....Only looked over a few parts, but this seriously kicks-ass. Well done.
  14. Hi Helen Welcome to the board. Where do you live in Japan then?
  15. Just want to wish the skijapanguide people with the new site. You came up with the goods last November, looking forward to seeing how you will improve on things for the new season. Japan is extremely lucky to have you. ganbatte
  16. Don't laugh...... ....but GALA have a great park you know made by some famous dude. They are going to make it better this year too by all accounts. The only thing about GALA is - go on a weekday! Otherwise it may not be fun.
  17. Just to elaborate a bit more (a few more minutes before the boss arrives!). The Prince people may well be very nice, but they certainly dont come across that way to their guests who pay them a considerable amount of money to stay in their "not-particularly-modern" rooms. They just do not seem to "respect" their guests. Kind of difficult to explain, anyone else feel the same kind of vibes??
