Just to add another voice PWL. I can't remember feeling unsafe here. I have felt leering ojisan eyes and some sexist remarks made that wouldn't have been accepted back home but nothing more sinister than that.

I love the photo! I went about 5 times to Zao and it is one of my favorite place. In summer also it is good place for visiting. -
I went with my school, it was to Shiga Kogen. Recently I did not go as much as I want to.
