  1. TB, where'd you pick up the spare wire? Seems like a good idea carrying one around.
  2. Awesome Mitch! I might be coming again this season with some friends. I'll let you know if it works out.

  4. Sounds like you've got a nice winter planned! Def jealous. I'll def get some Whistler in since it's not to far away. Maybe a week long trip to Park City. And fingers crossed for getting a group to hit up Japan again.
  5. Congrats on graduating! That's exciting dude. Def got a lot of time, so no worries. Talking with some friends about getting a trip together for the next season. But it's definitely just talking about it at this stage.

I'm fuzzy on the details, but in Japan there's actual beer and beer-like drinks. I believe the cheap one at Lars is beer-like.
  7. Nice. Glad you got to get in a few more turns MP, in spite of the fleecing. Switzerland is def an expensive country.
  8. Mitch, looked like some awesome snow and great tree runs. Hope your roomie is alright.
  9. Damn June, that's awesome. I guess this is the upside to El Nino for you guys. When do the resorts typically close?
  10. Mitch nice! For the past 4-5 years one of them has stayed open at least until Cinco de Mayo. 2 years ago I rode there on May 20th or so I think. But no dice this season, all the local resorts are closed already
  11. Well, if it ever is released as a product that's a long ways off (years I'd guess). Don't hold your breath. It's interesting stuff, but telling people that it's secret makes it sound much more interesting than it really is
  12. Mitch, I'll keep ya in mind! RB, it's tough but we try.
  13. I'm on an incubation project, super secret! Although (somewhat inaccurate) info about it has leaked a few times. I used to be on the Windows Mobile team. But that was before they actually had a good looking OS.
  14. At work of course we can just install things no worries. Generally we don't get free copies, although they did give everyone a free copy of Win7. Some people also bring in personal laptops, desktops, etc and install Windows, Office, etc on them. Although you're not supposed to. I wouldn't be surprised if people who work in the Office org get a free copy though. We do get big discounts on software, xbox accessories and games that MS publishes. Thursday - Maybe that's where they keep the attractive employees. Generally us engineers don't win many beauty contests
  15. Yep, it's been released to the manufacturers, so it should be showing up sometime soon. Been using the Beta for some time. Outlook and Word both have some nice improvements, but nothing mind blowing. I don't really use the other apps.
  16. Office 2010 just RTMed. Some friends went to the launch party.
  17. Ensenada is nice. Growing up we rented a house there a few times for a long weekend. Can't beat the food
  18. San Diego -> SF Bay Area -> San Diego -> Seattle I def miss SoCal (and SF for that matter). Very limited Mexican food options here in Seattle But on the plus side, the beer scene is great here

  20. It's a good location, although I find the claim that they're ski-in ski-out somewhat dubious.
