Some more snow yesterday including 22cm being reported by the resort from the top Yamabiko area. Just a little down below and no more overnight.

Just checking the calendar and reminding myself that it is actually April. It sure doesn't feel like it!

OK so there's another 20cm of fresh snow being reported on the upper slopes of the resort and there's some snow down to base as well which is great to see.

We move into April and into the final part of the ski season (though this last section of the season is due to last for 5 more weeks).

This morning while we have not much more than a dusting down here at base areas, the resort is reporting 15cm of fresh snowfall on the top areas.

After that snow of yesterday with 5-10cm more reported being by the resort from the upper areas by mid afternoon.

Fresh snow! Nearly 10cm of it measured by myself, and more than that being reported up top by the resort.

Good news after a dry spell. The resort is reporting 40cm of fresh snow.

Thanks for that snow yesterday, Nature.

How about this then? 20-42cm of fresh snow being reported by the resort since yesterday.

Well, with a rather wet day yesterday I wasn't thinking I'd have much good news to report this morning.

It's going to be a sunny day and while it was pretty cold overnight it will be warming up to around 5C at base this afternoon.

About 10cm of fresh snowfall to report to you this morning with the resort reporting just a bit more than that up top since yesterday.

I'm up for first tracks this morning (in the name of research for good reporting of course), so it's an early report.
