How about this then? 20-42cm of fresh snow being reported by the resort since yesterday morning (almost all of it overnight) as the mountain is transformed back to something like mid-winter mode.
Excellent news and I can hardly wait to get on those lifts this morning. Though visibility looks very limited early on so need to get fully kitted out. There's a chance of clearer weather later in the day as the snow is due to stop sometime this morning.
This is not a full-on return to winter as we are expecting warm weather and sunshine tomorrow, but it does mean that we can taste some winter once again at least for today - and tomorrow should be good too.
It looks like there might be more snowfall coming in next week too, so there might be another mini-blast coming after this one.
Whatever, I recommend thinking this might be the last one and dropping everything to make sure that you get out and enjoy it if at all possible.
