Good news after a dry spell.
The resort is reporting 40cm of fresh snow up on the top Yamabiko area. Wooo-hooo!
There's around 20cm or so down by base areas too which is just great to be able to report at this stage.
I'm off. I've got to... get my hair done. Or something...
Sun and mild expected tomorrow.
Fresh snowfall reported by the ski resort (since yesterday 3pm):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 40cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 30cm
- Hikage (660m): 20cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 20cm
- Karasawa (563m): 10cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by resort):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 320cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 260cm
- Hikage (660m): 135cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 110cm
- Karasawa (563m): 70cm
All lifts apart from the following should be operating:
- Yunomine pair
- Mizunashi triple
- Challenge pair
- Utopia pair
- Kandahar
All courses should be open apart from the following:
- Grand Prix
- Hachiman
