Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 9cm

Fresh snow! Nearly 10cm of it measured by myself, and more than that being reported up top by the resort.
I don't need to say much more than that. It's still snowing - not due to continue for long - but there should be a bit more to add tomorrow. (Sun and milder temps are forecast for tomorrow).
Great to have another mini blast of winter at this stage of the season.
Fresh snowfall reported by the ski resort (since yesterday morning):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 15cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 10cm
- Hikage (660m): 10cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 10cm
- Karasawa (563m): 10cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by resort):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 280cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 220cm
- Hikage (660m): 95cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 85cm
- Karasawa (563m): 40cm
All lifts apart from the following should be operating:
