About 10cm of fresh snowfall to report to you this morning with the resort reporting just a bit more than that up top since yesterday.
Light snow is falling this morning - fairly decent visibility lower down, a bit more restricted on the upper areas.
OK so sunshine is expected tomorrow along with milder conditions, but warmer still is forecast for around Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm hoping not too much, but there's definitely at least a bit of a warm bump ahead in the coming week. Let's just hope that it is just a bump.
Fresh snowfall reported by the ski resort (since yesterday 3pm):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 10cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 13cm
- Hikage (660m): 10cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 10cm
- Karasawa (563m): 10cm
Official snow depth numbers (reported by resort):
- Yamabiko (1407m): 320cm
- Uenotaira (1230m): 295cm
- Hikage (660m): 200cm
- Nagasaka (615m): 190cm
