Shellie 0
Hi everyone:) Click the link below to hear some new songs by Linkin Park plus watch them record their new album 'Meteora' http://www.bandbuilder.com/lptv/index.php?ref_code=F15940
Plucky 0
I didn't click and I didn't listen. On the surface, I hate Linkin Park, but I have to admit they have some good tunes. They have basically taken the sound of 311, Rage, and Chili Peppers and made it in to their own pop-rap-reggae-punk sound for a new generation. Just as long as we're clear that they aren't orginal I'm sure I'll hear the new stuff on 91x out of San Diego. I listen to this station at work online all the time. LP ain't bad. Ocean11 0
I've tried to listen to Linkin Park but I just can't take all that teenage frat-boy angst seriously. What are they always so unhappy about...? That's not to say I don't like unhappy bands - Joy Division had some great songs. But Linkin Park just don't seem very convincing. fukdane 2
I like their sound

amandanism 0
dont like them, the bf does though. some of their songs are catchy but it stops there.
HoTRoD 2
I like them too. Lots of people do it seems, it was the best selling CD of 2001 their first album
frizzled 0
Theire remix CD last year was good, more electronic than their normal one.
Goemon 0
Ocean11: Seeing as you like Joy Division, have you seen the "24 Hour Party People" film yet?
scouser 4
I've seen it. When I was a student I spent many brilliant nights in the Hacienda and around Manchester, oh those were the days! I think a smiley is appropriate here:
snowboard_freak 0
I don't mind thier music but i probably won't buy the new album.
nori-chan 0
It's too noisy and shouting for me.
Ocean11 0
Goemon, not seen. When I was at Manchester Uni, I hated 'the Hass'. The Cyprus Tavern was more my scene.
Goemon 0
Ocean11: you might like the movie even if you weren't a big fan of Factory or Hacienda. There are lots of scenes of Tony Wilson (as played by Steve Coogan) doing local news reporting assignments.
BagOfCrisps 24
I heard on the telly that Linkin Park were getting their fan club members to go out onto as many message boards as possible to spread word about the new album - cheap marketing. Perhaps Shellie is one such messanger. Intriguing. You'd think they didn't need that!
ex-lurker 0
That CD clocks in at just over 36 minutes - with 12 songs on it
ProtoDude 0
And what an awesome 36 minutes it is
Raury 0
I like a lot of LP stuff, actually bought their first album and still drive around occasionally with it in the stereo, cranked up, doing a little drive by head banging.
MalcomB 0
New CD is good
Roger's head 0
Good album, some great tracks. Some of them seem unnecessarily short (WHY?!), but well worth a listen.
slow 0
Their music video is very interesting. And I was very impressed by the song they use Shakuhachi. They have Japanese atmosphere from Mike. That's nice!
aciiiiid 0
Is he half-Japanese then?
ayumi_nagumo 0
I prefer less loud music
slow 0
Yeah, he looks like half-Japanese. Maybe his grandparents are Japanese. I'm not sure... There is a guy who looks like asian, too. What's his race?
1 4
The turntable guy (and video director), Hahn, is half Korean I hear.
