PintOfBeer 0
Good or evil? I think they're stupid but I have to wear them for work and I'm quite proud of my most excellent collection.
SKI 15
They are ridiculous aren't they. But, hey, if I've got to wear them, then I'll make the effort and have a decent one.
snowboard_freak 0
I hate the damn things and avoid them as much as possible.

merryJim 1
Call me mad - I'm sure you will - but I like wearing a good suit and tie to work. Gets me in "work mode" and suits me well, so to speak. Some terrible ties from way back in the collection, I should really throw them out.
sweetaz 0
i like ties. i think a tie can say alot about the person. Which is funny cause some men can pull off some really 'out there' ties, while others would look like they cut up their mother's curtain fabric if they wore the same one. one thing is for sure tho...they are really fun to take off!! mumbojumbo 0
I dont love em but if I have to wear one I can live with it. Decent ones only.
Siren 0
I enjoy wearing a good suit. The ties are just accessoris like cuff-links. I only wear a tie when seeing Japanese clients.
bobby12 0
can you tell the difference between a 100yen tie and a good one? i always wear 100yen ones so i hope not!

nekobi 0
i agree with sweetaz- a guy wearing a good tie is really sexy, but if its the wrong one, it can be a turnoff. like i mentioned in the jeans thread, all the guys at my high school had to wear them. there was a group of guys who preferred bow ties, and since they were pretty hot, i like a nice bow tie too. for me, i like to wear ties a belts occasionally. Siren 0
On average, the ties my girlfriends gave me are usually much better than those I bought myself. But I do make mistake sometimes. What's a Quote: ties a belts ? Is it American?
nekobi 0
sorry typo- i meant to say that i like to wear a tie as a belt.
Siren 0
Has anyone seen a Japanese salary-man wearing his tie as a headband in karaoke/club? It makes me laugh every time.
cheeseman 1
I have some good ties. I was even able to find a great cheese tie when I was in France. The ladies just love it.

scouser 4
I got a tie as a present this week. It's goddam awful, I wouldn't normally be seen dead in it. Way bad. I'm wondering how to not wear it FOREVER when I work close by this person. Perhaps I could say it's so nice that I'm keeping it for really special events or something. I really must take a pic of it, it is so bad.
enderzero 0
What is the most you have ever spent on a tie? Mine is $2 for the only ties I've ever bought in Vietnam. Custom made, I might add.
