OgiOgiOgi 0
The coffee machine at work is not working this morning. I need my fix and the best I could do (or so I thought) was the vending machine. It's been a while since I had a can of hot coffee and I forgot how disgusting they are. The offending item was DyDo Blend Coffee in a friggin' tiny tiny can 190g and it cost 140 yen. Outrageous.
blinkin'ek 0
Yes this is best avoided.

NoFakie 45
In a can, you're better off with the various kinds of Japanese or oolong tea. None of them are sweetened. Avoid the ones in CocaCola machines coz they're not as nice.
gamera 0
How about UCC coffee?
badmigraine 0
All them canned coffees have a kind of roasted sweet sausage aftertaste. Why is that? What are they putting in there, some kind of vegetable oil instead of milk or something? Yuck. Better off carrying those little foil tubes of instant, then mixing your own Strong Brew with hot water and a bit of milk. Or just eating the instant coffee like candy. fukdane 2
They also seem to put the equivalant of 20 sugar lumps in every (tiny) can.
BagOfCrisps 24
Hey I had some of that, I remember it was truly disgusting.
boardbaka 3
On the contrary in my opinion. The best one is called Emerald and in turqoise can with mountais on it! only 120 also. Is it possible to get addicted to vending machines?
Karnidge 2
I don't mind it either actually. Try to get one with less sugar. Been here too long perhaps.
base40 0
I used to eat instant coffee when I was a kid. And then a mouthful of powder milk. I used to like newly creosoted (sp?) fences as well. Tasty.
connackers 0
I love a lot of the canned coffes when they`re cold but it`s definitely much harder to find ones that are good hot. There are ok ones out there but it involves a lot of painful experimentation.
taguchi 0
I'm sure those cans used to be much bigger as well.....
rach 1
Yes, and not more expensive as well. It's like the ever-decreasing-in-size Creme Eggs and Mars Bars thing. A Mars bar 20 years ago that would have been called "normal sized" (they only had one size back then) is now classed as a "Super Mega Oversized Giant Mars" or something ridiculous like that, with the price to match. guzzlers-baps 0
There's some in 7-11 that aren't too bad. Can't remeber the name I'll take another look
