mattlucas 0
Better than pet bottles because you can pour boiling water into them without the risk of melting them

mattlucas 0
I think the larger question TSB is why would you take it home with you
Kumapix 0
that could get quite messy. what if you don't have a smooth exchange?
mattlucas 0
That could get really messy and really stinky The pee bottle would be the same thing What if you miss and get it all over your sleeping bag I've only ever peed into a beer bottle on a local train with no toilet. It didn't go so well and I ended up leaving a big puddle on the floor. Of course I was drunk at the time
Kumapix 0
well, don't pee in the bottle IN your sleeping bag or use the tube in your sleeping bag either
cheesewoman 0
Do you not take any cheese supplies?
Fattwins 0
toque is it snowing there? we are up to 5 cms here at base level. What are your thoughts? i dont want to ski a ridgeline i can do that here. if it doesnt stop snowing soon i think ill call it off and stay local.
mattlucas 0
I guess that's your decision If it's good though I'm going to rub it in your face. If not then I at least had a good day out and better exercise than riding a lift for turns I think it would be good if you got out away from Hakuba to actually see what else the North Alps has to offer It screws me though if you don't come because then Jer and Dan won't have snowshoes or trekkers
Fattwins 0
yeah but i can stay local and head up above tsugaike. im still in but i want to let the weather play out. if it snows into tonite mate im not going to go though. ak is it snowing in hotaka if so how much?
mattlucas 0
We won't get nearly as much snow my way and that's where Yakedake is It's supposed to turn to rain pretty soon Last night it was forcasted to change at to rain at 9 in the morning so very soon
Fattwins 0
lets keep this talk here we are running 2 threads. like i said i want to wait and see. My poor re-fitted wood stove.
mattlucas 0
Snow is tapering off now I can safely say that unless it stays cold and starts pouring rain down low that maybe 10-20cms accumulated at higher elevations
AK 77 0
Hi FT and Toque, there has been no snow on the ground in Hotaka - i just saw the snow line in the trees a few 100m above the town. I guess it rained in the night in town, and it's been light but low cloud and a bit drizzly all day so far. Is the new snow wet and sticky - b*stard to wax for glide, like the stuff last sat night? mattlucas 0
You might have a bit of a mess to clean up when you get home If we do go with the plan of Yakedake tomorrow then you should leave Hakuba at 6-630 meeting us at the onsen at around 8-830 It'll be a fun trip. And you can look over into Kamikochi and see the area we will go for GW
AK 77 0
FT is anyone else from Hakuba coming on Yakedake trip with you (if you go)?
