SKI 15
JK's main problem apart from being flat is the lifts - many of which are just sooo slow. I see Tomamu in there are well. Many people here been there?
enderzero 0
Can someone refresh my memory on Joetsu? I know it is in Niigata, and if I am thinking of the right place it is the one somewhat close to Nagano (Nozawa/Shiga/Myoko area). Is that where Jeff Anderson was staying when he died a few years back?
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted November 16, 2005 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted November 16, 2005 Hi enderzero. I think you are talking about Kijimadaira in Nagano (which is close to Nozawa/Shiga Kogen). Joetsu Kokusai is just to the north of Yuzawa town here in Niigata (about 15 minutes by local train). It looks like this: (see below thread!)

Ocean11 0
If you hit that little ramp up to the lift at just the right speed, you could fly up, grab a chair, pull yourself up and ride back up to the top again without having to queue. That's what I would do.

SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted November 23, 2005 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted November 23, 2005 Sorry I missed that enderzero.... here's a pic from the bottom JK is really spread out there's this area in front of the hotel, a section over the top of the hill and a part to the side as well. Here's a course map: The ace photo is taken from about the position where you can see "D" on the map (in the middle), looking down towards the hotel in the bottom left part of the diagram.
