Thundercat 60
The costliest Olympic Games in history officially open in Russia on Friday, with 98 medals to be won over 16 days. Does that make events so far 'unofficial'. There's only been qualifying events so far.
oo 1
just realized its Kobukuro doing the theme song on NHK. It was always going to be them or Yuzu wasn't it. Talk about uber-bland.
NoFakie 45
I'm not into figure skating but I think I'll cheer for that Japanese skater who has decided to not change his music in spite of the scandal about the deaf composer who it appears is neither deaf nor a composer. If you've not seen it, it's a fantastic story. Jam packed with the human condition. Both from the deceit and manipulation of the bloke himself, but also from the hype and adoration he got due to people basically falling for celebrity and not judging music on its own merits. oo 1
yeah interesting story. but I can't see why it matters who wrote the music to figure skaters music anyway
Alexander L 80
Music is music. And having done all that training to that score, you'd be nuts to change it due to smear pressure.

ygrene 1
I saw something about a Swedish athlete getting punked in practise due to the extreme design of the course, so Shawn White pulled out of the event. That was Horgmo, a Norwegian guy, who broke his collar bone on the Slope style. A shame really because he was one of the favs to win it. You can watch his movie for free on youtube:
