snowdude 44
What if you have more than one favourite prefecture? Can you change the option so we can choose more than one!
Chriselle 158
If Hokkaido were actually a prefecture..I'd choose it... Otherwise Nagano is close runner up.
mina2 6
Can you change the option so we can choose more than one! Heck no! The rules are the rules!
snowdude 44
Shoganai ne! I go for Niigata then!
Kansaiash 6
What about shiga and fukui. I am disappoint.
Slippery Jim 65
I wouldn't necessarily vote for Iwate, but strange it's not on the list.
Chriselle 158
And Shizuoka ..... let's not leave Yeti out in the cold....

klingon 10
Nagano wins for just the huge choice available.
BagOfCrisps 24
Hmmm, Nagano
Metabo Oyaji 71
Only problem with Nagano is it is in the wrong place: too far from my house. Small, but fatal, error, that.
Tubby Beaver 209
bastards just can't do anything right! I feel the same about Hokkaido, the snow is awesome but they've put it an inconvenient distance away from my front door. A very serious design flaw
RobBright 35
Niigata for me, lots and a variety of places in a close area. Easy to get to, and also home to SnowJapan.
gerard 6
Maybe Nagano strictly for skiing but Hokkaido to live. I love the space.
Tubby Beaver 209
Where would u live Ger? Recently been looking into buying a house in the near future but round where I live it's expensive and for very small house plots. I've a mate in Sappiro who has bought a house so I had a look there and I was surprised at how far my money would go even in a big city like Sapporo. Even the missus has started to think about a relocate up to Sapporo to enable us to own a decent sized house with a garden
2pints-mate 0
Nagano gets my vote. Just so much in such a relatively small place.

As it is, my job lead me to Tokushima. Nice town, a little far from the skiing... Built a house on 55 tsubo. Done deal. I guess it's a question of what comes first - employment or location. Too late for me, but maybe you should take the family and run while you still can...
Hokkaidough 4
I choose Hokkaidough, but I'm biased.
rider69 18
Nagano for big mountains to play in during the summer. Hockey and sliding in the winter and Jobs and enough land to farm. Just wish the mtbing was a little better but that could be said for all of Japan.

gerard 6
I'd love to live in Nagano for sure, but one other good thing about Hokkaido is that you can actually understand what people are saying. Cross into Aomori and you might as well be in Korea. Or Scotland.
snowbender 3
As a whole, Nagano gets my vote.

muikabochi 208
I'm rather happy being located here in Minamiuonuma, so I will have to say Niigata.
