grungy-gonads 54
I quite enjoyed that actually, when Newcastle woke up. At least they are playing better than we did last week. Kind of good this 'not expecting anything', takes the pressure off! Still think City are going to take the points. They'll probably nab it in the 89th minute, the bastardo's. grungy-gonads 54
Oh yeah, and Howard Webb obviously favors City big time the amount of yellow cards he has been dishing out to Newcastle players. It's an outrage!

big-will 7
Lots of City possession now.
grungy-gonads 54
City are going to score, it's inevitable. I'm really chilled out about this.
scouser 4
FA Cup. Damn. As for the PL, Fergie switches to Plan B..... beat Swansea 15-0!
grungy-gonads 54
Taking into account City's probable demolition of QPR next week, we'll probably need that!
grungy-gonads 54
That's it then, two goals. Comedy attacking line up please, Sir Fergie.... we need about 20 goals.

grungy-gonads 54
Yes, 10. If we beat Swansea 10-0, it's all even at the top. ( )
Tubby Beaver 209
lets hope that man U do go all out in attack....take it to the last day. Good win for City, though. Looked a bit nervy I thought until they finally scored. 2 well taken goals from Toure
grungy-gonads 54
What we got was a damp squib. I suppose the unpalatable truth is that we don't particularly deserve to win.
pie-eater 207
What I want to know is... are squibs always damp? And what are squibs anyway?

NoFakie 45
A battling performance from the Toon, but not good enough in the end. Citeh have some great players. Still, a chance of a top four finish on the last day, so its been an incredible season.
big-will 7
Yes Newcastle have been impressive.
NoFakie 45
With so much attention on this particular game, it would have been nice for our flair players to do more than they did. All credit to Citeh though. I've never noticed Silva tracking back and tackling as much as he did yesterday. He's much stronger than he looks.
grungy-gonads 54
Yep some very good players. Scary to think what they might buy over summer. And who we probably won't buy. In fact, they'll probably buy who we want to buy.
BagOfCrisps 24
the unpalatable truth is that we don't particularly deserve to win. This is correct. United don't. It's hard to imagine City not winning now, do QPR have the capability of taking it to them next weekend?
