gareth_oau 2
seen that one too Tubby, every week he samples a new culinary delicacy. In this episode, he at the testicles, some raw camel fat, which he claimed was a local delicacy, but he spat out as revolting, a beetle (not sure if it was Paul or Ringo LOL) plus a frog that was still alive and kicking. thursday 1
that's loverly fermented quid. Goes nice with rice. When in Japan, I put that on half a bowl of rice, with some other seafood, like fish roe, crab roe, and pour some miso soup into it. Nice..

Kraut_in_HongKong 0
China has lots of stuff that is really out of question. One I tried was "bee larvae" (no taste at all) One I did NOT try was "Water Cockroach" , or 水曱甴 in Cantonese. Food rule in China is: Simple is best or more expensive = more disgusting

thursday 1
I think it's reserved for visiting dignitories. It's a joke traditional food so they can see heads of state eat things the indigenous would never dream of eating.

I would say many Chinese also don't touch them. Some even shudder at dog meat, which I find quite normal and tried before.
