rach 1
I've made my mind up - Liverpool. Though I would possibly less like losing to them than Chelsea. But winning against them would be very nice.
thursday 1
read my lips: "Have a feeling it could be ManU and Liverpool, and ManU getting the double."
stemik 14
nobody is thinking about Barcelona....I reckon they might just pip man U
grungy-gonads 54
Barcelona aren't too hot right now. I think United will walk it. They are hungry for it.
stemik 14
i think the same was said last year about the same time and Man U getting stuffed 3-0 by AC Milan
grungy-gonads 54
No it wasn't. If I remember correctly, United had lots of injuries at the end there. And they are simply better than last year. Well anyway we shall see.
stemik 14
oh i thought it was after a 7-0 drubbing of Roma, full of confidence and I cant really recall any injuries with the star players..Messers Rooney and Ronaldo... But good luck to them. I would prefer Man U getting to the final
rach 1
Manchester United: 4-3-3 Van der Sar, O'Shea (Saha 77), Brown, Vidic, Heinze, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney The big names did not perform last year. Ferdinand was out for both games home and away and our defence was very shaky. But like gg said, United are looking a lot better this year. I don't think they're be putting in a rubbish performance like that again this time round.
BagOfCrisps 24
Big big game tomorrow. Yikes, it's make or break. If Arsenal win, we're still in with a shout, if United win we're totally gone and United are extremely strong.
thursday 1
yes indeed. Read my lips: "Have a feeling it could be ManU and Liverpool, and ManU getting the double" THE DOUBLE!!!
big-will 7
This was, well, interesting
big-will 7
I think I'll watch the two games tonight Liverpool and then United vs Arsenal.
scouser 4
Got some beers in and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Ready for the night
grungy-gonads 54
Liverpool game just about to start now. I think I'll get a can of beer out and some crisps. See you tomorrow.
rach 1
United are playing so poorly I'm quite depressed. I hope Fergie has his hairdryer out on full blast right now.
rach 1
PHEW. Can't say I enjoyed that one!! Well until the final whistle anyway. Gerrard was good with his penalty the other game but what about Ronaldo last night. Not only did he score but he scored twice on both tries. The pressure must have been (to use a good football word) 'massive'.
scouser 4
We got another win in there. Good to get back to the habit. Good game United vs Arsenal. So many missed chances. Must have been stessful for you rach
thursday 1
only Chelsea left scampering after ManU.
BagOfCrisps 24
Infuriating. We deserved to win so much - but then again, we didn't because we didn't take the chances. Don't want to work today.
2pints-mate 0
So it's just up to Chelsea now. Arse maybe deserved it last night, but deserving sometimes doesn't have much to do with it. Chelsea may not deserve to win the title, but there's a chance. United sure have an impressive goal difference.
rach 1
Heskey!!! Nice one Can't say I was expecting that, but it is a great help. How about United winning it at Stamford Bridge!
pie-eater 207
Glad Wigan could help out against those souless Chelsea people.
scouser 4
Might even be before that rach. Everton away are always tricky and that's whats up next for Chelsea. A lose there and United could get it this coming weekend, though their away at Blackburn is another tricky one.
2pints-mate 0
Well, we don't know what twists and turns may still be ahead but it is looking difficult for us now.
grungy-gonads 54
Chelsea blew it well at least for today anyway. hahahahahaha, that's funny. I really do not want Chelsea to win.
