taguchi 0
What happened there?!
soubriquet 0
Operator error, I presume. Probably a case of a rich dickhead driving under the influence of a massive ego. I wouldn't want to end up upside down in one of these. The doors scissor up to open, so you'd have to get out through a window. Assuming the electrics were still working, otherwise you'd have to break the glass. Speaking of which, if you ever watch film of our chaps in Spits, you'll see that they take off and land with the canopy open (slid back). That gave them some chance of getting out in the event of a ground roll. The Bf109 had a side-hinged canopy. Upside down and on fire, the poor sods in those had no chance of getting out. soubriquet 0
Agreed. Especially when you can be up the stairs in half the time. Probably the same people who fight to park the car close to the supermaket entrance when there's heaps of space a row back.
