Takeshi's Broadcaster program just did a piece on Hakuba being in the smellies this season due to the endaka situation. Did lots of doomy interviews with restaurant owners (new English menus - it is donburi or bowl?), rental shop guy (gaijin size boots), hotel dude (big beds) and Australian dudes on the 'spot-the-snow' slopes saying "takai" in poor Japanese. Interesting that they chose Hakuba. PS Pathetic amounts of snow there, no wonder the dudes they interviewed looked depressed. Lots up here. all in good humor of course

Remember thursday also that Hakuba is the coolest place EVER.
