i went to Kusatsu last summer. Lovely area, I really liked the village + onsen + mountain + the crater up on the way near Shiga Kogen too. Very nice place. -

Thanks for the comments. A friend of mine has the 7" Sony one and it is impressive looking.... though actually I thought it looked a bit too small in his lounge, so I think 9" would be a better buy. Still looking around. -

Hello. I am thinking of buying one of those digital photo frame things for my parents overseas. Idea is to load it up with lots of photos from here in Japan and it might make a good present for them as they like photos and I could update it too. Anyone got one or bought one or just recommendations? I am looking at a few, the Sony one looked best in the shops. Thank you.

Looks like the next one will just be "7". A number of commentators point out that the release is not Microsoft's seventh at all, whichever way you look at it. The company has released Windows, Windows 2, Windows 3.0, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista. This new edition should therefore be Windows 8 if Windows XP is counted as a release. If Windows XP is not counted because it is Kernel 5.1, then 'Windows 7' should be Windows 6.1. "What will happen when the 'real' Windows 7.0 comes around in x years?
