I have seen the Tactic range, the gloves are popular, not sure about the jackets & pants. Maybe it is not this seasons, try google there are a few on ebay as well!

15 minutes!! It is basically next to Hakodate, It is not so big! But I think Hakodate is the third largest city in Hokkaido. So in this area there is probably 500,000 people.

Sorry Connackers, I'm in Hakodate, southern tip of Hokkaido. It is the first serious snow I have seen here since last season. But I hope the cold front moves down your way!

We are getting a Shinkansen station here in Ono/Kamiiso (about 15min north of Hakodate). The two towns will soon join to become one mighty empire to be known as Hokuto City! Not sure when but it is happening!

I just stuck my head out the window and it is seriously snowing, like a blizzard. Hopefully it is heading your way. Ahh finally I might be able to relax- and hit the local mountain!

Yep, I'm starting to worry. Northern Hokkaido looks OK but here there is nothing. If it does snow it is followed by rain. Just when I bought a heap of new gear for this season.

I would have to say where I am is pretty good. 1 min to the beach 15min to the nearest mountain. Although closer to a bigger mountain would be nice. 4 hrs to Niseko/Rusutu ain't to bad though!

I love it when it snows heavily. Not many people, quite and peaceful. I can do what I want. I look forward to the shitty weather days so I can have a mountain to myself!

I'm a big believer in karma. I think I spend most of my time dealing with it, mostly bad karma. But everyday I work on trying to turn this around.

I always cop abuse from younger students- no you don't write it like that! Pretty frustrating. I find that most Japanese write like children, the writing has no character or personality. I know this is a generalisation, sorry!
