I have a good friend who is a photographer by trade - he has just bought the Nikon D80 and is very pleased with it. For what it's worth. (I think he is a bit of a Nikon-head though...)

The resort itself (Tenjindaira) is really small. Fantastic views on a clear day though.

That cow is well cool. I like cows. I feel really really sorry for most of them in Japan that never see a field and are cooked up in those huts.

Nice warm hospitality is good, but as others seem to be saying as well too much is not good. Went to one place in Shizuoka and it was overbearing.

Funny you should say that about Meg. I watched Top Gun again recently and she's in that - much younger of course, but she looks awful. I thought anyway, seemed much nicer looking in more recent things I've seen. (Not seen her in any ad here though)
