I wonder what most Japanese would think if they knew about the "VJ Day" celebrations that go on every summer to celebrate victory over Japan. Is that name just a UK thing or in other countries too? I'm sure there could be a better and perhaps a little more sensitive name for it going into the future than VJ Day.

All these teams and pundits this week going on about Wigan being in the relegation zone next May. I say they won't know what has hit 'em in another month. Roll on the start of the season -
Thanks. Anything is good, thanks for the info. Doesn't have to be pie and accompanying drink-related!

Anyone here from or know the northern part of Australia - in particular the region round Broome > Pender Bay? A good friend of mine is moving out there and it might be somewhere I will want to be going sometime in the not too distant future.

Total Network Solutions, it is. Very interesting story too. http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/european/article298918.ece I like this quote: The Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling, who does the Saturday football results, has a catchphrase for each TNS victory: "They'll be dancing in the streets of Total Network Solutions tonight." -
I really want this one, Comic Strip Complete on 9 discs http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN...3469120-8917413

Some great areas around Bala Lake in north Wales. I think it's the "back road" from Chester to Snowdon region very desolate great for a ride on the brothers motorbike round there.

Love the pic Wiggles. And don't blame the pies. It's the eater who's to blame! -
I agree. Like royalty, it all just looks so silly.
