  1. I assume Micheal Moore's hometown, Flint, MI is near Detroit. Looks like a pretty morbid place to live.
  2. I work with a guy that plays them 8 hours a day, six days a week. I liked them when I was younger but the guy I work with killed it. He's my warehouse guy that only likes one band. That's what happened.
  3. I was at the Eddie Aikau...parking sucked but the waves were literally roaring. It was the first time I've seen a 50 footer.
  4. From Hawaii I'd go for a minimum of 5 nights for a snowboard trip. Any shorter would be too ã‚ã‚“ã©ã†ãã•ã„ to dig out the winter wear from storage.

  6. Hey ILoveZao, on the Miyagi side of Zao there is a cheese factory. In front if it there is a little restaurant that offers a very good cheese fondue. The serving size is generous...for two or more people. Give it a try!
  7. As mentioned, it almost always goes along with happy occasions...perhaps influencing whether it's liked or not. I like it on occasion.
  8. I didn't know that Diageo had anything to do with that. Interesting. And if you don't like the Ghengis khan, the seafood is good!
  9. I'm in the same position. Sorry, no hot tips. Just today I had to remind a guy about a $3,000 debt. It's never easy to collect on debt. I've even had people say something like, "no, that can't be right" after reminding them of their debt with proof.
  10. 25 minutes per way via mt. bike. I could drive in 10 but what fun would that be?
  11. It's been a year since I left and recently I find myself missing Japan. I've gone to a couple Japanese restaurants recently and the "irrashaimase's" got me a bit nostalgic. There are tons of quirky 'only in Japan' kind of things that I miss. I know I'll always visit but living there is another thing. Any of you that have left or for those of you that know the day will come, what are your thoughts? Doomo!
  12. I hate LOL! I can't wait for it to go away. I don't necessarily associate it with low IQ's but it is absolutely irritating.
  13. At the resort it's almost always curry rice. Zoa (Eboshi) has a zao cheese curry with nuts and raisins. Might sound strange but it always gets me through the 2nd half of the day. "America Dogs" are disgusting - avoid!!
  14. Zero! I'm in the sun and ocean so much that it would be a waste of time and money. Soap, shampoo, deodorant and an occasional cologne. That's how I get lovely before grazing on Saturday nights.
  15. ...written by no less than a doctor and a priest. A great father's day gift?
  16. Natural, with the sun. I hate alarm clocks but will use keitai alarm if needed.
  17. I agree that Hakata and Sapporo have good ramen. I also found Setagaya Dori in Tokyo to have a lot of good places. I love the miso or shio with lots of garlic.
  18. Very strange! Did he just start walking again after you passed?
  19. You cannot buy an entrepreneurial spirit. Formal education helps open doors and in many cases it no doubt is a healthy addition to your quality of life in general. But financial success and how smart you are aren't necessarily intertwined. A friend of mine is the same. He was a mediocre student at best but had a very strong drive to make money. He's 36 and retired. He's no more book smart than before.
