  2. Snow reports from Canada and Germany. We are getting more international, cool!!
  3. I like acoustic sounds, too. Chris Pierce He came to Japan for greenroom festival last summer. He was really good.
  4. Chili beans, bagul sandwich and salad. It's big lunch but all homemade, I think it's about 300yen. I am an economizer.

My dad and brother in law, they are both engineers and transfered to brunch in California for several years. They enjoyed relaxing life and earned lots of money there.
  6. It's just 15minutes from Shibuya to my station. I realized recently that women only car is less crowded and much nicer. Does anyone here like it, too??
  7. Interesting buildings... yes, I'm still in Tokyo. The sky here is always hazy. I miss big blue sky...

That's really expensive. Health insurance covers dental cost in Canada, doesn't it? I'm lucky my teeth are very healthy and beautiful by nature. And my dentist is happy about that, too.
  9. wow, nice nice Toque! You are living in the mountain. No snow yet in your town db? Are you living in Berlin?
  10. I was not angry... Now two votes for Crest.
  11. Sounds nice, toque. Snow pics please.
  12. ok, which one are you using? It doesn't matter Japanese or not. I remember a friend of mine reccomended me Cinnamon flavor before, I should look for it. There is one I don't like. Salt toothpaste, horrible taste...
  13. Do you have any favorite toothpastes? There are so many kinds and I don't know which to choose. I gave up buying one today. I'm wondering how people choose their toothpastes.
  14. I was interested in this, too. Wikipedia Japan observed DST between 1948 to 1951 but it caused rushhour train overcrowded. Wow, we have this terrible rush-hour train more than a half century... Wikipedia says Hokkaido is observing DST since 2004, is this popular in Hokkaido? I didn't know DST started under the wartime in Germany. hmmm interesting.
  15. This is cool. http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/by/msimswil You can research cycling routes. Half Fast Ride is the group I ride with almost every weekend. I am not good at Tokyo, so I started my hometown Miura Peninsula route with this group. Biking around Oshima is also nice.
  16. I think more center more green in Tokyo. There are nice and quiet areas if you bike or walk around. I guess many foreign bankers are living in those area. My office is 5minutes walk from Shibuya station, from my apartment 30mimutes by train and 40minutes by bike. There is no space for my bike in my office, so I have to take train everyday... I am living in Tokyo just because my office is here. I wanted to have life experience and challenge in a big city when I moved, now I don't know how to get out of here... sad...
  17. WtoSki, why don't you share this with people here??? Nagano 50 resorts pass: Dead line is 13th November at noon. Adult 30,000yen / Kids 15,000yen Entry format: https://sec.prnagano.com/snowlove07pre/ticket2007/ticket-form.htm more information: http://www.snowlove.net/ticket2007/season.htm Good luck, everyone!
  18. I baked quiche(bacon, spinach, mashroom) last night. So quiche and salad(lettuce, mizuna, feta and olives) for my lunch today. I love quiche with Sharwoods Mango Chutney, yummy.
  19. YO LA TENGO, I like their new album. Are they coming to Japan next year?
  20. I proposed a plan installing new PBX and using Willcom as office phone instead of land-line the other day and it was approved by executives. I was always frustrated by telephone line in my office. Wireless makes it easy to design layout and workers are happy because they don't need to use their private Keitai for business anymore, plus free talk between workers anywhere in and out of the office. win-win solution, yey!
  21. Chilly this morning. The bath season has come.

Or are you just trying to be sneaky and make us all think it isn't worth it so you have more chance of winning? Can I discuss ClubMed here? I think I have to be polite because ClubMed gives us free stay there (I paid for my stay though), so all I can say is it's not my place and don' need to go back again. If I'm married and have kids, probably kids can enjoy. ClubMed has unique concept.
