  1. Quote: The Happy Manatee Band Ocean11: Can you divulge the inspiration for this name? It reminds me of a bit on the old "Dr. Katz" cartoon series where a troubled manatee lamented that everyone called him " sea cow " "Call me 'Manatee'! 'MANATEE'!!!"
  2. Here ya go AET; she's alllllll yours: Why does she continue to lie about authoring books which other people wrote for her? Does she really need to take all the credit?
  3. Yeah, hope the flight back was good, but it's inappropriate to say "sayonara". "ja atode ne" might be more fitting since I suspect you'll be back by November (at the latest...).
  4. I get a headache after being out in a hail storm for too long...
  5. Quote: They're original, edgy, and groundbreaking Which one is "Edgy" then? The one in the middle? I guess so since she has the shortest, edgiest hair...
  6. I don't think they're so hot...(but I wouldn't kick 'em outta bed for eating crackers).
  7. Damn! Can't any of you pic-hungry mofos do a search on google? Here ya go ya lazy bums: For video, check here . sheesh!
  8. Nice squirmy try , but, anyway, that guy's name is Bela Lugosi
  9. Quote: Anyone every see one of the movies from the guy EDWOOD was based on? what was his name? Umm, his name WAS Ed Wood . I saw Plan 9 from Outer Space a lonnnnnng time ago and it was amusingly horrible.
  10. We didn't get a little wet, we got ALOT wet. Good time in spite of that though. After awhile, you just can't get any more soaked. We set up a bunch of blue tarps to protect our BBQ action though, so I felt a little like Panawave out there. Tama-chan!!!
  11. danz: we had those block parties in the East Coast too; you just weren't invited
  12. How about Land of the Lost ? I think Cha-ka looks a bit like Mr. Sparkle...
  13. So Ender, how was the beach scene then? Did you guys get all sorted out with the free camping?
  14. Quote: what the girl is wearing in the Marui ad (getting into the airplane) You mean this shiznit?
  15. I'll grant you that, but they could have at least had a light show or some dancing bears or something to spice it up.
  16. I will bash the Pet Shop Boys live-concert abilities. I saw them at Fuji Rock last summer and they sucked rocks. I will concede that they have many good tunes, but they didn't play any of them live and they idn't perform with any enthusiasm nor showmanship. Perhaps your listening pleasure was somewhat enhanced by the situation you were in...
  17. ender: Did you get the coffee mug and/or sticker photos from Fujiyama or Dondonpa? We got some good shots. That acceleration on Dondonpa was amazing; I couldn't even hear anything, just "WHOOOOOOOOOSH!!!". Fujiyama's first drop alone was well worth the wait; they really build the tension well too with that slow climb to the top. After 50 meters I was looking around thinking, "damn...we're getting up there!".
  18. I was just checking that Cedar Point ride on the web yesterday ('cause I went to FujiQ Highlands on Sunday and was checking where Fujiyama stood in the record books now). Looks pretty sick: bm: sounds like a sweet set-up you got going there!
  19. Not any everyday thing, but I miss hanging with my friends more than home itself. " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
  20. There is a Japanese cooking show where they say "MAZUI!"; can't remember the channel/time, but I think it's on Tuesdays around 11pm on Channel 8(?) and features one of the SMAP guys. They basically pull two girls off the street (ideally fancy-shmancy girls shopping), put them in a kitchen full of ingredients, and tell them a specific dish to make without providing the recipe (ie tiramisu). The eating panel features the SMAP guy and 3 other "stars" who will have to eat whatever the girls make. They watch the preparation through a hidden camera and recoil as the girls over-salt, over-sweet
  21. Quote: Starship (!?) Was visiting a friend in Taos, New Mexico about 7 years ago and passed the Holiday Inn which boasted "Jefferson Starship" was playing in their lounge the next night. Needless to say, we missed that show... It was reminiscent of "Spinal Tap" when they play the amusement park and "Puppet Show" gets top billing.
  22. Quote: Best Ski Movie Ever - would have to be Hot Dog the Movie. Definately agree there; the scene where he plays the acoustic guitar to woo the girl? Priceless.
  23. Quote: Whatever - it isn't important. Hawaii and Guam are pretty different from the conitnental US anyway. Sorry, enderzero, I was just kidding "If Zwelgen jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?"
