NTT do a 1 day pass thing that you can use in lots of places in Tokyo. Handy if you need it just for 1 day. 500 yen it is. Looks up NTT communications hotspots.

The strongest I have probably experienced is a shindo 4 here in Tokyo. I was on the 14th floor of a building and so it felt pretty strong and was a very strange sensation. Not one I'm keen to repeat.

I don't think you can do that but they (maybe not the companies themselves) want to make it so you can. I use docomo and connect using their packet thing. Not cheap but I only use it from time to time when I am away - and you can use the packet costs for normal phone calls as well so there is no waste.

I used to get stuck in to them until I saw a similar documentary. Then again if I reacted like that to all documentaries, I don't think I'd be able to sleep in my bed at night or do much else. Those nuts are definitely off the menu though
