Missed all that. How come you only got the mails this morning? -
In the movies when a friend tells another friend, the friend that is getting told always gets annoyed and angry with the telling friend, so be careful. Seriously, awkward one that. I'd tell the friend.

0 yen weekday and 1000 yen weekend is just way too much of a difference. A more reasonable all round charge would be easier to accept. -

Yes summer flights are a complete ripoff. It's worth making changes to your plans to get round them. -
Thought I'd share. 10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong! 01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning. 02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall. 03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. 04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women

Just going on about the "yellow sand" phenom in Tokyo this year - saying got to be careful with washing as it might all get yellow sandy like. Anyone noticed anything?

Some of the (bottom) shows were ok, saw a live stage show they did on dvd a while back (from 2000 I think) and it was very hit and miss. Filty Rich and Catflap got cancelled after 1 season of 6 - it's easy to see why.....

Leaving forever maoriboy? -
When I first started I rented some gear. The first time it really sucked. It even looked fairly old, but I wasn't to know much about it all. It was only when I bought my own that I really noticed a difference. I'd say if you were planning on using it more than 4 or 5 times in a few years, you should definitely buy and not waste money on rentals.

Who would win? Happo vs Kagura?
griller replied to rach's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Well, I like both and enjoy what they both have to offer. -

A japanese friend gave me some CDs last week - including Love Psychedicico, Dreams Come True, Utada Hikaru, B'z. Some decent songs in there, but don't think I'll ever get into it.... I think I need to understand what they're on about! -

The snow is eating the vehicle. -
I was at the g/fs last night and heard the paper being delivered early morning. Went out to get the thing and just couldn't believe how many insert ad things (chirashi) there was. I counted them. 36 in total, some with multiple pages. The newspaper accounted for less than a third of the width of the whole thing. Is this normal?

How many times?

Half what I hoped for at this time. -
I was just reading the other thread where some girl wanted to become an airline check in person. Apart from that being utterly mad, someones comments reminded me of checking in last year for a flight. 20kg was the limit. My suitcase was 38kg. And I had a PC case, and another bag which was a fair bit bigger than the size they say on the signs as you check in. I got away with it, but I've heard of people being caught up for much less. Anyone beat my record?

I have a quite hairy back and while I wouldn't say I'm particularly proud of it, it hasn't caused me any problems at all
