Do you guys and gals over there watch the local news? What's it like? UK news seems so drab at times, ever so serious. We saw some tv when we were over there, obviously not much but it seemed pretty wacky and bright even the news programs. Just wondering if the sober serious news is a brit thing... other countries?

I like suits (it'd be tough shit if I didn't because I wear one 5 days a week). Got a few more expensive, but you can get a decent suit in the UK for a couple of hundred pounds.

We rented while we were there. It cost a lot. If you are living in Japan I think you'd be nuts not to buy. Someone might even give you some 2nd hand ones to start off with in your area if what I am told is to be believed.

BoC - must disagree. Not being a fan of either the Scousers or the Mancs, it wasn't much of a game to watch. Scousers were awful in the first half, at least it was a bit more level in the 2nd. Nothing special. I care about Gerrard though (England implications...)

Yes, well I can understand that 'concept', but don't a large number (vast majority) of people not have vinyl players anymore? Seems a bit of a spazzy strategy.... What sort of tracks do they put on these vinyl records that very few people will buy? Crappy remixes??? ??
