I go 2-3 days/week and I feel 100% rejuvenated afterwards, but just wish it was as convenient to be able to do as running!! Nothing easier than walking out your front door, office, hotel, etc...

  4. For sure, but what you eat and how much rest you get are two of the most important things. Mix in some exercise and in a month or two you'll trim down little by little.

That would be one of the concerts I wish I could have seen bar none. I love DMB - their live stuff is sick and the jams are so tight. Here is a cover of Cortez the Killer with Warren Haynes!!!
  11. Hey S.J., maybe I did, but there were NO crowds at the above mentioned resorts when we were there over Xmas/NYs, and the numbers at Furano were so limited that the pension we stayed at knocked off 5000/night because he just wanted guests!! Excellent value, and walked to the gondie in 5 mins. I love powder, but if I was a family man and not really hunting for S.C. or B.C., Id head right to Furano as it seemed to have everything to me. Great place. I would like to go back and explore the area more.
  12. I disagree with Slippery Jim's commments, but Im guessing he is thinking more of Niseko/Rusutsu? If you are out towards Asahidake there were NO crowds at all. No waiting. No bs. I think heading out towards Furano and Tomamu would be good options. However, it doesnt get as much snow out there compared with Niseko/Rusutsu so coverage can be more minimal at the beginning - we found at least.
  13. Ive got 125-99-114 at 183, and then some rockered 140-112-122 at 186 that just rips up anything. Those are the 2 skis I always use. Id demo some myself first if you havent skied too many fat skis. Try trad vs rocker, too.
  14. my brain is still fried from that bs...the later 4 hours and 45 mins worth.

  17. Is it any different than eating, changing a CD, drinking, etc...?
  18. How Japanese girls wear more clothes in summer than in winter They should be wearing even less in summer, right?
  19. Old grannies with their purple, green, red, orange, blue, and rainbow colored hair really makes me
  20. Landis needs to take his panties off and accept the fact that some athletes are just better, and quit crying about it.
  21. I collect paperback books...its not art, theyre not THAT beautiful to look at. I wouldnt pay $4000 for a book. Ever. You have waaaaaay too much money on your hands me thinks Thurs.
  22. Ezo, we had 7 bikes, 7 people rocking up the back of Minekata! It was sick! Just glad the police didnt see us
  23. Here are a few from last year. The Nagoya boys came up, and also several Hakuba locals. Great day of riding!

Check the reports from the last 5 years for places like Niseko/Rusutsu/Hakuba/Shiga and compare them.
