I only watch tv here when there is a variety program on that I wanna watch - London Boots, Downtown, etc... Just dont have it on to have it on. Id rather listen to music and read. I would go crazy if I didnt have music but couldnt care less if I didnt have a TV/VCR. However, if I had a satellite and had programs like TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, and the History channel Im sure Id put in more time. NHK has amazing programs, too.

Ginga Kogen is a Kyushu beer. I know its just not the same but I really love the Guiness which has the CO2 cartridge in it. Thats a great beer -Of course draught is the only way to go... Basically, any beer thats like a meal in a glass is fine by me

I would say Ive never hated snow nor have I hated the beach - but when you cant get to it you may become a little pissed off though... Also, I never skied until coming to Japan - gotta hate the southern part of the US... just friggin cold!! When it snows where Im from the entire state shuts down

Sharon, Wont be in Hiroshima for much longer as Im leaving for Hokkaido But, I do recommend getting over to Ohira(Geihoku Kokusai) much nicer than Kokusai as its bigger and has more runs and theyre longer. If youre a skier I recommend you check out Osorokan - Pretty nice and usually has the best dumpings. 191 is pretty good too. (think thats the name-cant remember). Enjoy!

Hakata, Onomichi, and Sapporo are all very good - probably Hakata is my favorite though. I like the atmosphere of the Yatai's. Definitely something not to miss if youre in Fukuoka.

If you have a 64Mb card for you digital just how many pictures do you plan on taking?? Ive got almost 300 on it right now... I wouldnt even bother trying to take my gloves off up there during the winter to get a few snaps off. And, if youre taking THAT many pictures then youre not boarding enough
