It is ironice feeling cold in the aircon environment, but I'm finding myself complaining more when I'm outside in the heat than inside in the cold.

Canadian teachers - hmm, Hakuba Brits - hmm, Shiga Ozzies - hmm, somewhere in Hokkaido American - hmm, Kyushu Sorry! There's just so many good spots its hard to say. And you can teach English almost anywhere in Japan in some form or another. I don't know about the comparisons to BC, so can't really give advice on that. But good luck anyway, I'm sure someone will help out. -

Forgot.....add 20 minutes or so to get up to the best place in the area, Kagura. (about 15-20 mins to the Mitsumata ropeway).
