I thought it was like the BBC in the UK....your supposed to pay it if you have a TV, and whether you use it or not.

Canadian teachers - hmm, Hakuba Brits - hmm, Shiga Ozzies - hmm, somewhere in Hokkaido American - hmm, Kyushu Sorry! There's just so many good spots its hard to say. And you can teach English almost anywhere in Japan in some form or another. I don't know about the comparisons to BC, so can't really give advice on that. But good luck anyway, I'm sure someone will help out.

Forgot.....add 20 minutes or so to get up to the best place in the area, Kagura. (about 15-20 mins to the Mitsumata ropeway).
