You plan to upgrade to one of those Man? I have a Galaxy S and, as far as liking a phone goes, I kinda like it.

It's less about name recognition as what they did. No-one was interested in mp3 players before Apple took the idea and made it desirable and presented it in a way that people thought was a good idea.

I have this year been through a move. They had 150,000 yen and I got about 75,000 yen of it back. About 50% was my 'if it's lower than that we'll need a chat' level, so I avoided that. I thought it was fair enough amount given a few things in there that needed fixing and it not being in a particularly clean state when I left. So I accepted that.

I think it is a waste of time getting a place polished up when moving out. They are going to get cleaners in whatever you do. Just have it presentable and 'clean', that's enough. Anything more and you are wasting time.
