  1. And do you want the hassle of having to spend the time and effort when you are in Japan? I know I wouldn't. Unless perhaps you want a gnarly Japan-only board/gear.
  2. I find the way that generally there does not seem to be outright alarm at the managed slow drip of worse and worse news very unsettling. Someone said it somewhere else on here - like a frog slowly getting boiled in water.

  13. Nice. There's a good park near where we live and it's usually quite but in sakura time it gets packed. Not into the squash 100 people in 20 square meter on blue mats thing, much prefer a secluded spot.
  14. I stayed on a farm when I was a kid. Loved it. Go get milking. Be kind to the cow, they are wonderful creatures. Just look at those eyes!

  17. Hundreds of people are feared dead and injured after a huge earthquake struck Japan early today. Minutes after the earthquake, measuring 8.4 magnitude, struck 150 miles north of Tokyo in the Miyagi prefecture at 2.46 local time, a four metre hight tsunami swept into the coastal port of Kamaishi, sweeping ships and cars away and inundating warehouses. Cars and entire houses were also swept off in Onahama city in Fukushima prefecture and fires burned out of controlafter it was inundated by a 7.3 metre wave.
