  2. hiya Pete, the SP Fastecs are great, but i'm no expert with little experience on alternatives. I see MB has offered you to to look at hers, and yr welcome to take a peek at mine if I'm closer, in Canning Vale
  3. Ive got a better solution. Butts should be stubbed out in all those butt cracks the Y-gen (and plumbers!) feel the need to show off all the time
  4. America send Solar Powered Bibles to Haiti Quote: As international aid agencies rush food, water and medicine to Haiti's earthquake victims, a United States group is sending Bibles. But these aren't just any Bibles; they're solar-powered audible Bibles that can broadcast the holy scriptures in Haitian Creole to 300 people at a time. The Faith Comes By Hearing organisation says its Bible, called the Proclaimer, delivers "digital quality" and is designed for "poor and illiterate people". It says 600 of the devices are already on their way to Haiti. Ive never eaten one
  5. I have some pictures of snow, thats about as close as Perth gets
  6. Perth was another balmy 42 today, and in the meantime Thredbo etc copped a good dusting of snow!!
  7. the refuelling proved to be too dangerous, twice last season saw cars racing off down the pitlane, with fuek kines still attached. They also have proven to be too unreliable, which was somehting outside the control of the team and theirefore unfair. The tyre-changes still mean we have the pitstops so keeps the entertainment alive
  8. I support your comments Mitch, I recently purchased "Thats It, Thats All". I wont download, as free downloads will destroy the industry the industry we all love.
  9. I'm a typically a mens medium (but I've got a set of mens large 20k snowboarding pants too, which i'm thinking of getting rid of). My wife's got some great gear too thats ladies XL my email is xxx@xxx.xxx.au if you want to set something up (sunday's 42 deg weather will be perfect for trying on snowboarding gear!!)

  18. LOL, 2 neighbours standing on adjacent rooves, shovelling snow like mad, end up with a joining snow bridge between the two rooves
  19. MB, they actually recorded snowfall in Wongan Hills in June 1956. I'm waiting for the next ice age to bring us some white magic!!
  20. that doesnt look right! I thought there would be at least 15 high speed cop cars crashing into each other at the end?
  21. dfl123, I've got a pair of Sorel Conquest, that are superb. For snow boots its very worthwhile having a sole that won't allow the cold to seep through check your pm and I'll send you some further detail ahh, can't pm you, you havent been a meber long enough
  22. just for a bit of variety, I'm a type one diabetic, so I throw in my blood test kit, syringe, and some chocolate bars etc. The test kit runs on batteries and tends not to work when it gets too cold, so you might see me sitting on the top or bottom of a run, pulling the thing to bits and warming up the batteries!! :LOL
