Is it really March?! This last week really has transformed things and of course in a good way.

It was a beautiful day yesterday. Lots of blue sky, hardly any wind. It warmed up a bit in the afternoon though not too much.

Just under 10cm of new snow on the top of the car this morning, so that is since yesterday mid morning.

The good news continues today. Snow through the day yesterday and more snow overnight.

Conditions changing before our eyes here as there are some breaks in the snow clouds and blue sky starting to open up.

Yesterday was.... very wet. It was raining for most of the day down at town level, though wet snow I believe falling higher up.

Light snow continued for lots of yesterday though it didn't end up much in terms of new cm.

It was rain on and off for times yesterday, turning into snow in the afternoon but clearing by evening.

A splashing of snow overnight here, though just 1cm on the top of my car where it was parked in the Ishiuchi area just outside of Yuzawa.

It's not a very exciting one today and not the best way to end February... it's raining, even up at GALA Yuzawa and Kagura by all accounts.

Another 10cm since yesterday - the car didn't move yesterday and that's what is on the top of the car this morning.

It didn't really stop snowing for long yesterday, though this morning we have around 10cm or so of fresh snow outside.

Morning from Yuzawa. It didn't get that cold overnight last night, only down to around -1 degree and that's where we are now at 9am.

Snow on and off for most of the day yesterday along with some blowy winds making it feel colder than it actually was.
