New snowfall at base 20cm
Snowfall at base this season 663cm

Yesterday was.... very wet. It was raining for most of the day down at town level, though wet snow I believe falling higher up. It wasn't until late night when the sprinklers started doing their thing meaning that the snow had arrived, along with strong winds as well for a while.
The good news is that this morning we have fresh snow. 20cm or so around town and 30cm being reported by Kagura. Great to report that, and also that it is still snowing quite heavily now and expected to continue so we should be starting to make up for the damage that we had done to us yesterday.
It is still quite windy though, and Kagura is only part open - from the Mitsumata Ropeway to the Kagura Number 1 romance lift. (Tashiro is closed for the day due to wind). All other resorts are open as normal it seems.
Lots of snow please!
