Another 10cm since yesterday - the car didn't move yesterday and that's what is on the top of the car this morning. It is a bit early for some of the resorts to report and so the numbers below are not updated for today - but from what is available, Maiko are reporting 10cm, Kagura are reporting 5cm and Naeba just a dusting. It was snowing for pretty much all of the day yesterday.
There was very light lazily falling snow earlier this morning but it seems to have stopped now, at least here at town level and probably continuing on the mountains.
Cloud and light snow showers seems to be the general forecast for the area today, followed by clearer conditions tomorrow and beyond. Or perhaps before as I can see that there's some blue sky already over the Kagura and Naeba areas. We might get to see some of that a bit later here too...
Should be good snow conditions this morning.
By all accounts it is going to warm up considerably from Tuesday. Daytime temps up to around 7 degrees around Wednesday perhaps.
