BagOfCrisps 24
I think he got the food bit wrong about Japan "Bland, some ok, lots terrible" Hmm I like the mochi description "cooked rice smashed into blobs by hammers"
Davo 1
Good reading. Sub-rural Shikoku sounds a bit dull apart from the girls who look innocent but aren't really , which would have to be one of Japan's BIG good points in my eyes . Big city Japan is a lot more Chinesey it seems.

KlingKlang 1
How many times a day do you see the police Once I hardly ever see police. They seem to visit houses to say "hi" or something, or whatever. I didn't understand that one. I have NEVER seen a policewoman (are there any?)
kintaro 0
I haven't seen a police women. police are worthless in this country unless you are lost and need directions or cold and need to sit in the koban for a few minutes to warm up. Smart police in japan retire to lofty pachinko jobs (amakudari)were they rest through their golden years earning exuberant salaries while making sure the pachinko industry carries on free of hassles. J-peeps on the forum, what's your take on your men in blue?
