Entering each of the contests is really simple - all you have to do is upload a relevant photo on Snow Japan and you're automatically entered. (If you are chosen as the winner of the contest and for whatever reason do not wish to or are not able to claim the prize, we will choose another winner - so no need to worry if you are not interested in the competition, please just continue to upload your photos as normal). Please make sure that you read the conditions of each contest on the pages below. Prizes for the competitions include a much-desired Hakuba 7 Season Pass, a Hakuba Iwatake Season Pass and over 60 one-day lift passes. All prizes are for the 2007/2008 season. We are currently finalizing the Giveaways schedule - probably the most ever this season. (By the way, EBC will have to specify a Hakuba resort if she wants those photos to be entered into the Photo Contest - at the moment they aren't. I was told there were lots of people writing reports in Japanese, none of whom got passes. If it's gone from people writing reports every day not being able to buy one to somebody being given one for a single photo, that's real progress. I think there is a formidable wall there before those things go on general sale, but at least that's another chink off it. Nice one fellas. Link to post Share on other sites

It has taken a lot of effort since then to get the idea going. We really appreciate the fact that they believe in what we do and gave us the go ahead. (And of course to the other places that have given us some excellent prizes). Of course, as a result of this contest there will very probably be a lot of Hakuba photos uploaded. We will also be publicising the Photo Contests in other places as well. So Hakuba in general will get a lot of exposure from it.... Link to post Share on other sites

There is no bias to any particular area on our part - the Photo Contests that we have put together simply reflect the places that were initially positive about doing it and agreed to do it on our terms.
