smellyfeet 0
I often get really cold feet out on the slopes it goes as much to spoil my day. Any good tips or boots for keeping as warm as possible? Cheers
Karnidge 2
Socks and decent boots. I started last season with some older boots that were a bit worn down - including the inners. My new ones were a treat, nice and warm.
gamera 0
I usually put a small hokkairo (body warmer)for socks when I go to ski slopes.

veronica 2
I give them a good start by having my socks on the heater in a morning right up until I go out. Toasty toes.

Bonio 0
When I last went boarding I was always getting snow in my boots and after about an hour my feet would get damp and cold, plus I had a hell of a time properly drying them out. Considering duct taping up to my knee's

Fattwins 0
you can also get boot heaters for your boots. check the net for them. they are about 200 bucks but it will save you feet.
Fattwins 0
here is the link http://cozywinters.com/therm-ic/ my wife had the same problem but not any more with those babies. Dont overcharge your batteries either, or get the top of the line model that has battery over charging protection.
HighlyTrainedNovaTeacher 2
Cheaper than boot heaters - just get those boots nice and toasty up and until you go out, same with feet. I had some boots before that were too tight (didn't know much different at the time) and it wasn't good. Give those toes a bit of room.
Fattwins 0
that works but the heat doesnt always stay in for some people.
sava 0
My boots are still relatively new, they keep me warm. The only hassle is putting them on in the morning
Roger's head 0
I have the most hassle taking the things off after a day. Could swear my feet expand a lot.
Bonio 0
Your feet do expand over the day due to the weight of gravity on your blood causing it to uild up in your lower limbs. When you sleep it all kinda evens out again. Whilst sleeping you also get slightly taller, as the lack of weight allows the joints to expand very slightly. So yeah your feet will get a bit bigger due to blood accumilation but it is probably mostly just down to sweating into your boots.
fukdane 2
That explains it. I need new boots, they will be mine.
oo 1
Your wife thinks those things are worth it Fattwins? Thinking of getting some for the other half.
Fattwins 0
The important thing is that she is not cold. Having to stop and warm up your feet sucks on a good day. If it keeps you warm and they last 3 to 6 years Id say its worth it. Heck we were paying 400 yen a day on heat packs for the wifes feet anyways.
big-will 7
I wouldn't mind trying them actually....
Fattwins 0
they work that is for sure
its-a-clock 0
Getting some. Cold feet is one of the worst things about winter sports. High expectations.
Bonio 0
I find that my feet are only really a problem if they start out cold in the morning. As long as I have dried out my boots beforehand my feet may get damp, but because of the activity of moving they never really get too cold to bare. Thats not to say I wouldent try my best to keep them dry, just that I tend not to suffer to much if they get damp. I also wear lots of layers so that my torso is very warm, that way I've got plenty of residual heat to keep me blood flowing and help stop my limbs going numb. When your body gets cold it automatically directs warmth into the torso and head in order to keep the vital organs functioning properly. That's why it's always a good idea to grow an afro, wear a hat, grow a healthy amount of hair on your chest and put a sock over your todger.
dale#1 1
I remember once I forgot to dry out my boots and I started the day with cold, wet boots. Very not recommended. I'm always sure to heat them up as much as possible now.
