It is Centleisure Maiko, yes. Near the top of that lowest gentle run, before it starts getting steeper. This is the left hand side of the resort of course.

Looks familiar but cant place a name to it. Will put on my thinking cap

Tsugaike Kogen

That it is. Named after (and co-developed by the owners of) Hunter Mountain ski area in New York, USA.   Over to you, Muikabochi.

That is Yuki daruma kogen. I think.

I seem to remember seeing that photo from a few years back on a blog, as they have a festival in the area that I wanted to visit.

Actually, I think it looks more like Cupid Valley, one of the lesser known small places in the Myoko area of Niigata

snowjunky got the name right...... Cupid Valley.

(A bit fussy Man, but technically you weren't right ;))

See if you can guess where this is?

Technically Cupid Valley is part of Yuki daruma kogen. Doesn't stipulate anything about the exact ski field anywhere in the first post. :p

It is a little flat overall but Ok for a change. We went round there to get away from the crowds at Akakuru where it was unbearably packed on a holiday weekend.

It was a lot less crowded but I probably would not bother going back.

MIJ, I am happy for you to post if you feel you had it right as you answerd it first

We don't want to let Ski go off, as he might go all sour. Being a yoghurt and all. ;)
