OK, so I just bought my wife a new "46 inch TV a few weeks ago and just paid for our trip to Hokkaido for the next two weeks. BUT,,there is nothing under the tree for her when we open our presents early before we leave on the 22nd. I'm feeling like I've done pretty good but I'm sure she's gonna feel a little dejected with nothing to open. What would you do?

I am in the same boat as you Chriselle. Spend many $ on my lady and we discussed that we didn't need to buy each other pressies.

But my dad told me what women 'say' and what women 'want' are totally different things.

I might just take photos of all the things I have brought her recently and put them in a box under the tree.

Why??

You've done plenty already. There's no reason you have to get caught up in the materialism of Christmas and actually get her another gift!
